About the Author

Kent Wang is a diligent writer, and his works have been published in major newspapers such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Washington Times, Financial Times, The Diplomat, The Hill, and many others. 

He is a recipient of the National Hai-Hua Medal from the Taiwanese government for publishing frequently on topics on East Asian international politics and regional security—the highest honor for Overseas Chinese. He is a lifelong space/aircraft buff and a devoted advocate of subjects such as the Taiwan issue in Sino-American relations. Striving in Chinatown and Beyond: The Journey of Yeni Wong is his first book.
